Terms of use

1. Open-source software
Reelfold (the desktop app, the video-studio skill and this website) is free and open source under the MIT licence (see LICENSE in the repository). It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind; the desktop app is a preview and may change.
2. Your responsibilities
- You have the rights to your footage and the consent of other people in it (guests, students) to use their face and voice; where you do not, mask or remove them.
- You publish the videos yourself and follow each platform’s rules, including labelling AI-generated or AI-edited content where required. Reelfold fills in the post; it never presses publish for you.
- When you use third-party AI services (Claude Code, Codex, any API or model), you follow their terms and settle any fees with them.
3. Limits of AI processing
Edits, captions and copy are produced by AI and checked automatically, but may still contain errors such as misheard caption words. Please watch before posting.
4. Third-party components
Fonts, models and other third-party components keep their own licences (for example SIL OFL 1.1 and Apache-2.0); see the licence notes in the repository.
5. Contact
